How does your drone work ?
There is a contrarotating drone : it is provided with two rotors which rotate in opposite directions . On the same model as a helicopter, with the same axis propulsion that allows to have a steady power and greater stability. Our UAV can stay up to 30 minutes at 40 meters (0,025 miles) when most of the drones last about ten minutes and our drone withstand powerful gusts. On the ground the drone iis controlled by an interface. It is a computer that provides several kinds of informations : the GPS position of the device, its temperature, speed and especially its mission. Our UAV is also equipped with a parachute, a camera, a GNSS ( GPS equivalent ) connected to a dozen satellites and a cap allowing for protection.
What are the drone uses ?
The drone is multitasking. It can be useful for architects, topographer , building companies but also for the town council which can use the drone to map the city.
It can also save lives. Imagine there is a snowfall in the Pyrenees with an avalanche risk, then the drone can drop mines. This avoid sending people in hazardous areas .
UAVs can also be very useful for firefighters to locate victims of a fire , for instance.
